Cut & Paste

But we try, anyway.

Hoping, perhaps, to capture two spirits dancing on a page.

Like the memory of Barcelona's melodic streets, the Argentine jewelry maker with his multiple piercings and half-shaven head and that gentle space between us. A lingering embrace and the light in his face greeting me like we were old friends, like he had been waiting for me.
